The LumiFlex3098+ is a professional 4000 K full-spectrum LED strip developed for applications where light quality and faithful colour reproduction are as important as brightness. It combines SunLike TRI-R technology from Seoul Semiconductor and Toshiba Materials with a very high CRI of 98, creating a spectrum designed to reproduce colours and materials with a natural appearance.
The 5 m reel produces 8510 lm in total, equivalent to 1702 lm/m, with 140 LEDs per metre and a power density of 19.2 W/m. Its combination of high colour fidelity, substantial luminous output and a neutral 4000 K appearance makes it particularly useful for professional spaces in which people need to see products, artwork, skin tones, materials or fine colour differences accurately.

Natural-spectrum lighting for colour-critical spaces
The defining advantage of the LumiFlex3098+ is its CRI 98 SunLike spectrum. It is therefore especially suitable for lighting environments where the visual impression of colours, textures and finishes matters: fashion and textile displays, jewellery, museums, galleries, beauty and hairdressing areas, medical and clinical spaces, photography and television studios, showrooms and premium retail.
In workspaces, kitchens, classrooms and studios, the neutral 4000 K colour temperature creates a clear white appearance that supports visual concentration without the distinctly warm character of 2700–3000 K lighting. High-quality linear lighting and luminaire integration
With 1702 lm/m, the LumiFlex3098+ provides enough output for much more than decorative accent lighting. It can be integrated into professional linear luminaires, recessed or surface-mounted profiles, display lighting and custom LED panels where a continuous line of high-quality white light is required.
The density of 140 LEDs/m helps reduce visible point-to-point differences inside suitable diffusers, while the 50 mm cutting interval makes it easier to match the strip length to custom luminaires, shelves, counters and architectural details. Cove and indirect lighting with premium colour quality
The LumiFlex3098+ is also well suited to cove and indirect lighting in homes, hospitality spaces, offices and commercial interiors. Its relatively high output allows the reflected ceiling or wall surface to become a useful secondary light source rather than only a decorative glow.
The neutral 4000 K tone works especially well in contemporary interiors and functional spaces, while CRI 98 helps wall finishes, wood, stone, fabrics and artwork retain a natural appearance. In high-output installations, the strip should be integrated into a suitable profile or mounting surface and the power-feed layout should be designed to keep voltage drop under control over longer runs.
Suitable for troffers and diffuse panel luminaires
For troffers and diffuse panel luminaires, the LumiFlex3098+ combines high colour quality with a dense LED layout and substantial flux. Several strips can be arranged across the luminaire to achieve a uniform illuminated area behind a diffuser, with the final spacing determined by the diffuser transmission, optical distance and required luminance uniformity.
This makes the product attractive for offices, clinics, educational spaces, studios and premium commercial interiors where conventional high-output lighting is required but colour quality should remain close to natural light.
White-light horticulture and controlled-environment applications
The full-spectrum 4000 K output also makes this version useful as a white-light engine in controlled-environment horticulture. It can be applied to lettuce production, microgreens and microalgae photobioreactors where broad-spectrum white light is desired together with good visibility for operators and crop inspection.
Its slim flexible format is also useful for inter-canopy lighting, where the light source must fit close to the crop or between plant rows. For horticultural systems, strip quantity, mounting distance and cooling should be designed around the required PPFD, uniformity and operating temperature rather than around lumen values alone.
Installation and system design
The LumiFlex3098+ operates from 24 V DC and can be shortened every 50 mm at the designated cut points. Its adhesive backing simplifies initial positioning, while the final installation should provide a stable mounting surface and appropriate thermal management for the intended load and ambient conditions.
For longer runs, use appropriately sized conductors and consider multiple feed points so voltage drop does not create visible brightness differences. Select a regulated 24 V constant-voltage power supply with suitable reserve above the connected load, and use a compatible controller if dimming is required.
