- Plug-and-play direct-connector system
- 24 V DC operation
- Made in Germany with a 5-year commercial warranty
The MultiBar1090 is an efficient rigid 24 V LED module for ambient, accent and supplementary linear lighting. Each 500 mm bar uses 24 Nichia 757G LEDs and produces 350 lm, equivalent to approximately 700 lm/m, while consuming only about 5.2 W/m.
Like the higher-output MultiBar3090, it uses the proprietary MultiBar plug-and-play connection system. Modules can be joined into longer, evenly spaced light lines without soldering, making the product especially convenient for coves, furniture, shelves, cabinets, display systems and compact architectural light lines.

MultiBar plug-and-play rigid-module system
MultiBar is built around a proprietary plug-and-play connection concept rather than the mechanical interface of a Zhaga module. The 500 mm rigid bars can be linked directly to form longer, evenly spaced lines of light without soldering, reducing assembly work in luminaires, furniture and architectural installations.
The connection system is also designed so shorter separated sections can remain usable with the appropriate connectors. This gives the installer more freedom to adapt a light line to the available space while retaining a clean, serviceable electrical connection.
For repeated installations, the system can simplify production and servicing because modules and connectors can be assembled in a consistent way instead of individually soldering every joint. Existing product data specifies that the direct-connector system can be used to link up to 46 modules in an installation, subject to the power-feed and wiring design of the complete system.
Cove and indirect lighting
The MultiBar1090 is particularly well suited to cove and indirect lighting where a moderate-output, efficient light line is preferred. At approximately 700 lm/m, it works well for ambient and supplementary illumination without the higher thermal and electrical load of the MultiBar3090.
The 4000 K neutral-white version creates a clean, focused appearance suited to kitchens, studies, offices, classrooms, clinics, garages, shops and other functional interiors.
Furniture, shelves and architectural details
The rigid 500 mm format is useful for cabinets, shelves, counters, exhibition structures and architectural recesses where the light source should remain straight and easy to service. The plug-and-play connector system reduces installation work when several bars are used together and avoids repeated soldering during assembly.
High-quality Nichia white light at low power
CRI 90+ helps furniture finishes, merchandise, food and interior materials retain a natural appearance, while 3-Step MacAdam colour sorting supports visual consistency when several modules are installed in the same light line.
For more background on white-light selection, see our colour temperature guide and CRI guide.
24 V system integration
The MultiBar1090 operates from a regulated 24 V DC supply. Longer linked installations should be designed with suitable conductor sizes and feed points so voltage drop remains controlled along the complete light line.
The MultiBar uses its own connection platform rather than the Zhaga interface used by the LumiBar family, so use the compatible MultiBar connectors when joining modules or reusing shortened sections.
Designed and manufactured in Germany
We develop and manufacture professional LED strips and rigid LED modules in Germany, combining more than 20 years of LED application experience with controlled production and application engineering. Our focus is on specified LED components, repeatable optical performance and light engines that can be integrated reliably into professional and OEM lighting systems.
For project customers, we can also support custom development, PCB adaptation, LED selection, thermal design, prototyping and series production. This allows the light engine and connection concept to be matched to the luminaire or architectural application.
