The Aventrix E21 is a high-power professional LED module built around 16 Nichia E21A direct-mount LEDs. This 2 × 8 version delivers up to 7785 lm at 4000 K from a compact aluminium-core PCB and is intended for high-bay, flood, street, area and other demanding outdoor or industrial luminaires.
Nichia's direct-mount LED architecture is designed for very low thermal resistance and a high lumen output from a compact emitting area. Aventrix combines that LED technology with an IMS aluminium-core PCB, Wago connection hardware and compatibility with common 50 × 50 mm optic families.

High-bay, flood and area lighting
Aventrix is designed for high-power luminaires such as high-bay lights, floodlights and area lights. The compact high-flux module allows the fixture designer to concentrate a large amount of light into a controlled optical system instead of distributing many lower-power boards across the housing.
The elongated 2 × 8 LED arrangement is particularly useful when the luminaire or optic needs a rectangular source geometry, for example in roadway, tunnel or elongated flood-light distributions.
Street and roadway lighting
The constant-current architecture, aluminium-core PCB and compatibility with dedicated optics also make Aventrix suitable for street and roadway lighting. Optical control is important in these applications because useful light must be directed onto the roadway or target area rather than lost as spill light.
Spotlights and downlights
With a suitable secondary optic, Aventrix can also be used in spotlights and downlights. The modular approach allows the same LED engine concept to be combined with different optics and housing geometries for narrower or wider beam distributions.
Direct-mount Nichia E21A technology
The E21A package is designed to transfer heat efficiently from the LED into the module PCB, allowing high optical output from a compact source. This can reduce the thermal burden on the luminaire compared with a less efficient light engine and gives the fixture designer more freedom when balancing heat sink size, output and enclosure dimensions.
Constant-current driver and optical integration
Aventrix E21 requires a regulated constant-current LED driver. The driver current and output-voltage range must be selected for the intended operating point of the module and the thermal capability of the finished luminaire.
The module is designed to work with secondary optics rather than only as a bare LED source. Optical selection should be matched to the target beam—high-bay, flood, street, area, spot or downlight—and validated in the complete fixture.
Designed and manufactured in Germany

For OEM and project customers, we can also support PCB adaptation, LED selection, optics integration, thermal design, prototyping and series production. This allows the LED engine to be matched to the luminaire rather than forcing the luminaire around a generic light source.
