The LumiBar3090 is a professional rigid LED strip module for high-efficiency linear lighting. This 140 mm version uses 12 Samsung LEDs and delivers 345 lm at CRI 90, combining strong light output, good colour rendering and a mechanically stable PCB for integration into commercial and OEM luminaires.
The module operates from a constant-current driver at 125 mA and approximately 15 V, consuming 1.9 W. Its linear output is approximately 2465 lm/m, making it suitable for compact luminaires that require substantially more light than a decorative LED strip.

Rigid light engine for linear luminaires
The LumiBar3090 is designed as a rigid linear light engine for professional linear luminaires. The 140 mm module length and 20 mm width allow it to be integrated into compact housings, suspended light lines, under-cabinet luminaires and other fixtures where a mechanically stable LED board is preferable to flexible tape.
The short LED pitch helps create a uniform luminous line behind a suitable diffuser, while the constant-current architecture makes electrical behaviour predictable across repeated modules. For additional integration guidance, see our linear fixture design guide.
Suitable for troffers and diffuse commercial luminaires
The module is also well suited to troffers and diffuse luminaires. Multiple LumiBar modules can be arranged in rows behind a diffuser to create a broad luminous surface for offices, classrooms, retail areas, healthcare spaces and other commercial interiors.
Final module spacing should be selected according to the diffuser, optical distance and target luminance uniformity. The rigid PCB and plug-and-play connection concept simplify repeatable assembly inside production luminaires.
White-light horticulture applications
The 4000 K version is also suited to controlled-environment horticulture, including lettuce production and microgreens. Its rigid linear format makes it straightforward to build repeatable rows of light over trays, shelves and cultivation areas.
For horticultural systems, module quantity, row spacing, drive current and mounting distance should be selected from the required PPFD and uniformity rather than from lumen output alone.
Built around the Zhaga Book 7 linear-module standard
The mechanical format of this LumiBar is designed around the Zhaga Book 7 standard for linear and square LED modules, using the L14W2 form-factor category for a approximately 140 mm class, 20 mm-wide linear module. Zhaga Book 7 defines standardized module categories and the corresponding mechanical envelope and keep-out space that a luminaire designer can reserve for the LED module.
For luminaire manufacturers, this is valuable because the housing, mounting points and internal space can be developed around a recognized industry form factor instead of a completely proprietary PCB size. It can simplify platform design, later product revisions, sourcing and professional servicing, especially when several luminaire lengths are built around the related L14W2, L28W2 and L56W2 module classes.
Zhaga Book 7 modules use a separate LED driver and are intended for professional luminaire integration and replacement. The standard supports mechanical interoperability, but it does not make the electrical operating point, luminous flux or efficiency identical between products from different manufacturers. When replacing or combining modules, the constant-current value, forward-voltage range, connector arrangement, thermal conditions and optical performance must still be checked against the luminaire and driver.
Zhaga Book 7 has also been published internationally as IEC 63356-2, reinforcing the form factor as an established basis for serviceable and interoperable linear LED-module designs.
High-quality white light for commercial interiors
The 4000 K neutral-white version is well suited to offices, classrooms, clinics, shops, work areas and other functional interiors where a clean white appearance supports visual concentration. CRI 90 helps merchandise, furniture, skin tones and interior finishes retain a natural appearance, making the module suitable for professional spaces where both efficiency and visual quality are important.
For more background on white-light selection, see our guides to colour temperature and colour rendering index.
Constant-current integration
The LumiBar3090 is not a conventional constant-voltage LED strip. It requires a suitable constant-current LED driver matched to the module current and the electrical configuration of the complete luminaire.
The rigid PCB and plug-and-play connection are intended to simplify luminaire assembly and service. When several modules are used together, driver selection and series/parallel architecture should be designed around the number of modules, driver voltage window and required total output.
Designed and manufactured in Germany
We develop and manufacture professional LED strips and rigid LED modules in Germany, combining more than 20 years of LED application experience with application engineering and controlled series production. Our focus is on predictable optical performance, reliable component selection and light engines that can be integrated efficiently into professional luminaires.
For OEM and project customers, we can also support LED selection, PCB adaptation, thermal design, prototyping and series production. This allows the LED module to be matched to the luminaire, optical system and target application instead of treating the light engine as a generic component.
