The PowerBar V3 horticulture module combines hyper-red and deep-blue high-power LEDs on one 286 mm aluminium light engine. The board uses 12 Osram Oslon LEDs in a mixed spectrum intended for plant-lighting systems where red and blue channels are required from the same compact module.
The source configuration uses nine hyper-red LEDs and three deep-blue LEDs. With the PowerBar V3 system, this spectral board can be combined with the matching heat-sink / housing, optics and constant-current driver to build a complete directional grow-light fixture.

Build a complete PowerBar V3 light fixture
PowerBar V3 is designed as a modular luminaire platform rather than only as an LED board. The module can be installed on the compatible PowerBar V3 heat sink, with optional mounting clips and heat-conductive adhesive pad, to provide the mechanical support and thermal path required for a complete fixture.
The beam can then be shaped with compatible optics for white and colour PowerBar V3 LEDs. Different optical distributions allow the same LED engine to be configured for linear lighting, spotlights, floodlights, high-bay luminaires, horticulture fixtures or other directional lighting applications.
For enclosed white- or colour-light luminaires, the optional PowerBar V3 plastic cover can be combined with the heat-sink system where the mechanical design requires a protective or finished outer cover.

Directional horticulture and supplemental lighting
The mixed red/blue spectrum can be used in controlled-environment agriculture and supplemental-lighting systems where targeted spectral power is required. The compatible lens system allows the beam to be adapted to crop rows, benches, shelves or other growing geometries.
System design should be based on PPFD, spectrum, uniformity and crop distance rather than lumen values. See our overview of supplemental horticulture lighting.
Constant-current driver integration
The module is designed for approximately 700 mA constant-current operation. Use a regulated driver whose voltage range accommodates approximately 33 V per module and the total voltage of any series-connected modules.
Designed and manufactured in Germany
We develop and manufacture professional LED modules in Germany, combining more than 20 years of LED application experience with controlled SMT production and application engineering. PowerBar V3 is designed as a high-power platform rather than a generic LED board: LED selection, aluminium PCB, thermal path, electrical connection and optics integration are developed as one system.
For OEM and project customers, we can also support LED selection, custom spectra, PCB adaptation, optics, thermal design, prototyping and series production. This allows the complete light engine to be matched to the fixture and application.
