The SmartArray Q4 is a compact square Nichia LED module designed as a direct alternative to COB-style point sources. Four Nichia E17A LEDs fit on a PCB only 13.5 × 13 mm, producing 530 lm at 4000 K from approximately 4 W.

Compact light engine for bulbs, downlights, spotlights and floodlights
SmartArray modules are designed for compact luminaires where high output must come from a very small source area. They are particularly well suited to LED bulb manufacturing, downlights, spotlights and floodlights.
The compact PCB makes SmartArray a practical alternative to COB modules when the designer prefers discrete Nichia LEDs, a defined board geometry and more flexibility in the electrical architecture. Its square, shallow geometry works well in compact reflector and lens systems where a concentrated light source is required.
700 mA constant-current integration
The Q4 requires a regulated 700 mA constant-current driver. At the reference operating point, the forward voltage is approximately 5.8 V. The small board can be fixed mechanically through the PCB slot and integrated directly into the luminaire's thermal structure.
White-light quality for the application
The neutral white tone is well suited to offices, shops, kitchens, classrooms and other functional interiors where a clean, balanced appearance is preferred. CRI 80+ provides a practical balance of efficiency and colour rendering for general professional lighting.

SmartArray modules are designed as compact light engines for luminaire manufacturers who need defined optical, electrical and thermal behaviour from a very small PCB.
For OEM and project customers, we can also support LED selection, PCB adaptation, optics integration, thermal design, prototyping and series production. This allows the module to be matched to the fixture and optical system instead of forcing the luminaire around a generic COB or anonymous LED board.
