The Pollux 7 × 2 is a professional rigid linear LED module built specifically around the Gaggione POLLUX7X1 optical platform. This version uses 14 Nichia E11 CSP LEDs and delivers approximately 400 lm at 4000 K with CRI 80+.
The module combines a compact 274 × 28 mm PCB with a 120° native LED distribution and a defined LED pitch for secondary optics. With a suitable Gaggione lens, the same LED engine can be configured as a wide flood, very-wide flood, elliptical wall washer or narrow wall grazer.

Designed around Gaggione POLLUX7X1 optics
The Pollux PCB uses a defined LED pitch and mechanical layout matched to the Gaggione POLLUX7X1 linear-optics family. This means the optical distribution can be changed without redesigning the LED board.
Available Gaggione variants include approximately 55° and 63° wide beams, an 80° very-wide beam, a 20° × 75° elliptical distribution and a 20° wall-grazer optic. A matching POLLUX7X1 holder is also available to position the optic correctly over the LED row and provide a clean mechanical interface.
Because each optical element is moulded to the LED pitch, the lens works as one continuous linear optic rather than as a set of unrelated spot lenses. This is especially useful for wall washing, wall grazing, floodlighting, shop lighting, machine illumination and other applications where beam shape must be controlled along the full length of the module.
Linear and floodlight applications
Pollux is suited to professional linear luminaires and floodlights that need a compact rigid light engine with a selectable beam distribution. This low-power version prioritizes efficiency and low thermal load. With approximately 400 lm from 2.5 W, it is well suited to decorative linear optics, accent lighting, machine illumination and compact fixtures where the Gaggione beam control is more important than maximum output.
With the appropriate Gaggione optic, the same mechanical platform can also be configured for wall grazing, elliptical wall washing, accent lighting, machine lighting or wider area illumination.
Choosing the Pollux output class
This low-power version prioritizes efficiency and low thermal load. With approximately 400 lm from 2.5 W, it is well suited to decorative linear optics, accent lighting, machine illumination and compact fixtures where the Gaggione beam control is more important than maximum output.
The Pollux family uses the same general optical concept across several LED technologies and power levels, allowing a luminaire range to share optics and mechanical architecture while offering different lumen packages, efficiencies and colour-rendering levels.
4000 K white light for professional luminaires
Neutral white 4000 K is a versatile choice for retail, offices, architectural lighting, machine illumination and other professional environments. CRI 80+ provides a practical balance of efficiency and colour quality for general professional lighting.

Constant-current driver integration
This Pollux module requires a regulated 130 mA constant-current LED driver with an output-voltage range that accommodates approximately 19.0 V per module. It must not be connected directly to a constant-voltage supply.
Several compatible modules can be connected in series when the driver's output-voltage range accommodates the sum of the module forward voltages. Parallel operation should only be used with validated current sharing or separately regulated branches.
Designed and manufactured in Germany
We develop and manufacture professional LED modules in Germany, combining more than 20 years of LED application experience with controlled SMT production and application engineering. Pollux is designed as an optical platform: PCB geometry, LED pitch, driver requirements and secondary optics are considered together so luminaire manufacturers can build repeatable products around a defined light engine.
For OEM and project customers, we can also support LED selection, PCB adaptation, optical simulation, thermal design, prototyping and series production. This allows the beam distribution, light level and mechanical integration to be matched to the finished luminaire.
