The FlexOne4080 is an ultra-high-output professional flexible LED strip for demanding linear-lighting applications. With 100 Samsung LM283 LEDs per metre and 3800 lm/m, it delivers the output of a powerful linear light engine while still retaining the segmentation and installation freedom of a flexible PCB.
This 4000 K version produces 19,000 lm from the 5 m reel at 42 W/m. The 19.5 mm wide strip can be cut after every LED at 10 mm intervals, making it unusually adaptable for high-output luminaires, bright coves and commercial lighting assemblies.

Ultra-high-output linear luminaires
At 3800 lm/m, the FlexOne4080 is designed for linear luminaires where the LED engine must provide substantial general or task illumination from a compact source. Its 10 mm segmentation allows the active light length to be matched closely to the fixture dimensions.
This is especially useful for commercial luminaires, continuous light lines, work-area lighting and custom fixtures where rigid LED boards would make length adjustment more difficult. See our linear fixture design guide for additional integration guidance.
Very bright cove and indirect lighting
The FlexOne4080 can be used for cove lighting when the reflected surface is intended to provide strong general illumination. Its output is substantially above typical decorative LED tape, making the cove itself part of the room's functional lighting system.
The 4000 K neutral-white version is particularly suitable for offices, classrooms, kitchens, clinics, retail and other functional interiors where a clean white appearance supports visual concentration.
Troffers and diffuse high-output luminaires
The strip is also suitable for troffers and diffuse commercial luminaires. Multiple strips can be arranged behind a diffuser to create a broad luminous surface, with the spacing determined by diffuser transmission, optical distance and the required uniformity.
High-output horticulture applications
The 4000 K version is mapped for several controlled-environment agriculture uses, including lettuce production, microalgae photobioreactors, microgreens and daylight-supplemental horticulture.
Its very high linear flux makes the FlexOne4080 useful where substantial white-light output must be delivered from a narrow source. Grow-light systems should nevertheless be dimensioned from PPFD, spectral requirements, mounting distance and uniformity rather than lumen output alone.
White-light quality and colour temperature
Colour temperature strongly influences how a space is perceived: warmer white supports a more relaxed atmosphere, while neutral and cooler white light is often preferred in task-oriented and technical environments. For further guidance, see our colour temperature guide and CRI guide.
Installation and electrical integration
Operate the FlexOne4080 from a regulated 12 V DC constant-voltage power supply. The strip can be cut every 10 mm, allowing precise adjustment to custom luminaire lengths.
At 42 W/m, the electrical installation must be designed carefully. Use conductor sizes, feed-point spacing and power-supply capacity appropriate for the connected length so voltage drop remains controlled. Mount the strip on a stable surface using the thermally conductive adhesive backing.
