The Daisy 28 is a tunable-white rigid linear LED module developed for professional office, architectural and wall-washing luminaires. This 28 cm version uses 28 Nichia NFSW757G V3 LEDs and provides approximately 595 lm at 2700 K and 625 lm at 4000 K.

The two white channels are arranged in 7 repeating light groups on an aluminium PCB, giving the module a regular optical pitch and allowing the colour temperature to be adjusted between warm and neutral white. With both channels considered, the platform reaches roughly 4,357 lm/m of installed module length, making Daisy suitable for general and task lighting rather than decorative accent light alone.

Designed for LEDiL DAISY-7X1 linear optics

The 28 cm Daisy module uses a defined LED pitch matched to LEDiL's DAISY-7X1 linear-optics family. The aluminium PCB includes mounting holes for the optic, allowing the luminaire to use one DAISY-7X1 optic set without a custom lens carrier.

Compatible options include the DAISY-7X1-W with an approximately 50° wide beam and the DAISY-7X1-WW with an approximately 80° very-wide beam. The same Daisy light engine can therefore be used for controlled office lighting, linear floodlighting, broad wall washing or architectural illumination simply by selecting the appropriate optic.

The lens-and-shade architecture also supports visually controlled, low-glare luminaires. This is especially useful where the light source should be less visible from normal viewing angles while still providing useful light onto the task or architectural surface.

Tunable white from 2700 K to 4000 K

Daisy uses separate warm-white and neutral-white LED groups, allowing the luminaire to move continuously between approximately 2700 K and 4000 K by changing the relative current of the two channels. This gives designers control over both the visual atmosphere and the light level from the same linear module.

Warm 2700 K light is useful for relaxed or hospitality-oriented scenes, while 4000 K provides a cleaner and more task-oriented appearance for offices and workplaces. Intermediate mixtures can be used for time-of-day or human-centric lighting concepts.

The two channels must be controlled independently with a compatible tunable-white constant-current controller. Daisy was designed to work well with multi-channel systems such as PowerController V2, but any driver architecture must be matched to the module current and voltage of the specific SKU.

Linear lighting, coves and wall washing

Daisy is suited to professional linear luminaires, office fixtures, workplace lighting, hall lighting and architectural light lines. With the compatible LEDiL optics, the same module can be used for more directional task lighting or broader wall-washing and floodlighting effects.

The module can also be integrated into cove and indirect lighting where tunable white allows the reflected ceiling or wall to shift between warm ambience and neutral functional light during the day.

Nichia LED quality and repeatable white-light performance

Nichia NFSW757G V3 LEDs provide a well-characterised professional white-light source with high efficacy and stable colour behaviour. The regular warm / neutral grouping helps the two channels mix evenly along the module when used behind the matching DAISY optics or a suitable diffuser.

Two-channel constant-current integration

Each Daisy module contains separate 2700 K and 4000 K channels. Use a tunable-white driver or two coordinated constant-current outputs set to 175 mA per channel, with an output-voltage range that includes approximately 20.0 V.

At the reference operating point, each colour-temperature channel consumes approximately 3.5 W and the complete module approximately 7.0 W when both channels are driven at full current. The controller should provide independent dimming of the two channels so both brightness and colour temperature can be adjusted.

Designed and manufactured in Germany
